One team is favored in every game of the 2024 NFL season

If there were a team to be favored in every game of the 2024 season, most would likely predict it to be the back-to-back Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs. That is not the case, however.

Following the NFL schedule release on Wednesday night, it is the San Francisco 49ers who are favored in all 17 of their games this season.

Still, the schedule makers didn't do the 49ers any favors, giving them four opponents coming off bye weeks. In fact, they're the only team in the NFL that must play opponents coming off byes four times.

The Chiefs in Week 7, Cowboys in Week 8, Seahawks in Week 11 and Bills in Week 13 will all be coming off their byes.

It's not an impossible task to overcome for one of the best teams in the league like San Francisco. The odds makers clearly agree by making it the favorite in every matchup.

Plus, the 49ers' schedule as a whole isn't daunting. According to Sharp Football Analysis, they have the 18th hardest schedule in the league based on projected win totals for 2024 and are heavy favorites in a couple of games.

San Francisco is favored by 11.5 points at home against the Patriots in Week 4 and 9.5 points at home against the Cardinals in Week 5. When all is said and done, it would not be surprising if the 49ers blew out a couple of other opponents, too.

According to FanDuel, San Francisco is also the favorite (+550) to win Super Bowl LIX with Kansas City a close second (+600).

This isn't to say the 49ers will win every game, including the Super Bowl, and complete the first perfect 20-0 season, but they may have the best roster on paper, and the oddsmakers are acting accordingly.
